Deze methode van stroomdistributie is effici\u00ebnter en betrouwbaarder voor het transporteren van grote hoeveelheden elektriciteit over lange afstanden dan eenfasenstroom.<\/p><p>In een driefasenstroomnet zijn er drie fasedraden (of fasen) en vaak een nuldraad. Elke fasedraad voert een wisselstroom die zijn piek bereikt op een derde van de cyclus na de vorige fase.
