Simplificando, refere-se ao ve\u00edculo el\u00e9trico. De acordo com a fonte de energia, os ve\u00edculos el\u00e9tricos podem ser divididos nos quatro tipos a seguir:<\/p><p><strong>BEV:<\/strong> Ve\u00edculos el\u00e9tricos a bateria dependem completamente de uma bateria para toda a for\u00e7a motriz. Ele n\u00e3o tem um motor de combust\u00e3o interna e opera com zero emiss\u00f5es. BEVs s\u00e3o normalmente carregados usando fontes de energia dom\u00e9sticas ou esta\u00e7\u00f5es de carregamento p\u00fablicas.<\/p><p><strong>PHEV:<\/strong> Ve\u00edculos el\u00e9tricos h\u00edbridos plug-in oferecem uma autonomia limitada somente el\u00e9trica, mas s\u00e3o acompanhados por um motor a gasolina. Eles permitem opera\u00e7\u00f5es el\u00e9tricas e a g\u00e1s. PHEVs podem percorrer uma dist\u00e2ncia em modo puramente el\u00e9trico e alternar para o modo h\u00edbrido ap\u00f3s a bateria acabar.<\/p><p><strong>VHE:<\/strong> Ve\u00edculos el\u00e9tricos h\u00edbridos tamb\u00e9m combinam motores de combust\u00e3o interna e motores el\u00e9tricos, mas a bateria n\u00e3o pode ser carregada por meio de carregamento plug-in. Motores el\u00e9tricos e motores de combust\u00e3o interna podem conduzir ve\u00edculos simultaneamente ou separadamente, e motores de combust\u00e3o interna tamb\u00e9m podem carregar baterias.
