São Paulo, Brazil – August 26, 2025 – EVB, a prominent provider of intelligent energy solutions, shone at Intersolar South America 2025, which took place from August 26 to 28 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. Situated in the Green Pavilion, Booth G3.90, EVB displayed its state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) charging products, designed to cater to the surging demands of Brazil’s thriving renewable energy and EV markets.
A Booming Market: Brazil’s Solar and EV Prospects
Brazil, a global solar powerhouse with extensive sunlight, boasted over 55GW cumulative PV capacity by the end of 2024 (22.2% of total generation, trailing only hydropower’s 40%+). MME projected 19.2GW new installations in 2025, lifting the total to 54.9GW and solar’s energy mix share from 12.6% to 18.2%, driven by 14.4GW distributed and 4.8GW centralized growth. With capacity seen hitting 74.6GW by 2028 and 114.4GW by 2033, Brazil led Latin America’s 54GW regional solar sector, fueling massive EV infrastructure opportunities.
EVB’s Highlighted Products: Merging Innovation with Local Requirements
At Intersolar South America 2025, EVB showcased a wide range of EV charging solutions, developed to meet Brazil’s market needs and technical standards:
- AC Charging Solutions: These included portable and wall-mounted models (7.4kW-22kW) equipped with Brazilian plugs, OCPP compliance, and smart APP integration. The 7KW single-phase portable charger (BCP-A2N-P) stood out with its compact size (379.5×164.3×201.6mm) and illuminated display for easy operation. The dual-gun floor-mounted AC charger (22kW) offered flexible deployment options for commercial areas.
- DC Fast Chargers: Ranging from 60kW to 360kW, these solutions were designed for high-power needs. The 60KW dual-gun vertical wide-voltage charger (BDC-60-S) featured a Portuguese interface and pre-installed Brazilian plugs for convenient on-site setup. The 90KW advertising charger (BGDC90-D) combined charging functionality with brand promotion. For ultra-fast charging, the liquid-cooled super DC charger (320kW-360kW) delivered a 500A current, allowing a Tesla to gain 300km of range in just 10 minutes.
- Smart Features: All products came with advanced protections (IP55/IP65 ratings), RFID card access, and DLB compatibility for optimized power distribution. The “2-in-1” wall-mounted + portable charger (7.4kW-22kW) was a model of convenience, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use with a rugged design that could withstand Brazil’s climate.
Booth Design: Embracing Local Identity
EVB’s booth design combined modern simplicity with elements of Brazilian culture, integrating features of the national flag along with EVB’s logo. Two displayed chargers incorporated Brazilian flag motifs, symbolizing EVB’s dedication to localized innovation and its partnership in Brazil’s energy transition.
“Brazil’s solar and EV markets are in a critical growth phase, and EVB is honored to be part of this journey,” said an EVB spokesperson. “Our solutions bring together global expertise and local insights, ensuring they meet Brazil’s unique technical and operational needs. We looked forward to connecting with industry partners at Intersolar South America 2025 and working together to build a sustainable energy future.”
