GXA Super-Sensing Architecture
The GXA Super-Sensing Architecture is a new energy commercial vehicle platform developed through in-depth insights into the commercial vehicle industry. EVB has developed two major architectures: GXA-T for trucks and GXA-M for VAN models. GXA-M adopts a dual-redundant steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire chassis system, transforming mechanical connections into electronic signal interactions for more precise control, faster response, improved energy recovery, and enhanced safety. Based on GXA-M, the vehicle body and chassis can be independently decoupled, enabling flexible combinations of wheelbase, front and rear overhangs, power, braking, suspension, and steering systems, providing a technical foundation for advanced autonomous driving.
Core Technology Pathway
EVB develops diverse new energy powertrain technologies to meet the needs of commercial vehicles across different application scenarios. For pure electric technology, EVB has achieved full-stack in-house development and developed a 1200V platform with IGBT chips and i-MPS flexible multi-motor topology. EVB also advances battery-swapping solutions covering battery, bottom, and side swapping, supported by the evolution from 1.0-generation to 2.0-generation swapping stations.
Lightweight Products
Lightweighting is one of EVB’s five key technology strategies, playing an important role in reducing energy consumption, improving vehicle performance, increasing payload capacity, and enhancing transportation efficiency. EVB focuses on lightweight development across three areas: lightweight materials, lightweight structures, and lightweight manufacturing processes. For selected models in the LCV product line, EVB continuously improves lightweight performance through material and structural optimization, manufacturing improvements, and innovative structural design. As a result, the overall vehicle lightweight level is more than 3% ahead of the industry average for vehicles in the same class, strengthening the lightweight competitiveness of EVB’s new energy commercial vehicle products.
Autonomous Driving Technology
EVB integrates technological expertise in low-orbit satellites, chips, algorithms, and other key fields to advance autonomous driving for new energy commercial vehicles, with continuous OTA upgrade capabilities. According to EVB’s development roadmap, L3 autonomous driving on highways and L4 autonomous driving in restricted scenarios were achieved in 2023. By 2026, EVB aims to realize L4 autonomous driving for trunk-line logistics, followed by L5 autonomous driving combined with smart cockpits by 2030. Through continuous innovation in autonomous driving, intelligent control, and OTA technologies, EVB is steadily advancing the intelligent and autonomous evolution of new energy commercial vehicles.
Connecting Innovation with Real-World Applications
EVB continues to advance technologies including CTC structural development, extruded aluminum alloy applications, EMB validation, and aluminum-ceramic braking systems. The CTC structure integrates the vehicle frame with the battery pack, improving rigidity and structural strength while reducing structural component weight by more than 25%. High-strength, high-toughness extruded aluminum alloys matched to vehicle loads achieve more than 30% structural weight reduction. The EMB system has been validated on an 18T wing-body vehicle, supporting steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire development. Aluminum-ceramic brake discs require no replacement throughout the product lifecycle, enhancing long-term braking performance.
EVB delivers advanced energy storage solutions especially for industrial and commercial applications. Our modular LFP battery packs are scalable, catering to storage requirements ranging from kWh to MWh.
