AR Manila, May 21, 2024—Leading charging equipment manufacturer EVB recently made its debut at Solar & Storage Live Philippines, showcasing its latest smart EV charging solutions. The exhibit focused on the home EV charging sector, featuring wall-mounted AC EV chargers with open charging protocols, as well as portable ones.
EVB’s wall-mounted AC EV chargers attracted considerable attention at the show. This product is compact and easy to install, making it ideal for residential environments. It comes equipped with a complete set of protection functions to ensure the charging process is safe and stable. To enhance user convenience, this charger supports WiFi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to manage and control charging via a mobile app. With the compatibility of the OCPP 1.6J protocol, users can remotely control the charging for more precise energy management. Users can also choose to start charging via the app or by using an RFID card, offering flexible charging options.
Meanwhile, EVB also showcased its portable AC EV charger, designed for charging when traveling or going on business trips. The portable charger features the same intelligence and safety functions as the wall-mounted version, but it is portable and can be used to charge electric vehicles anywhere, addressing the charging needs of car owners on the go.
During the event, EVB also highlighted its smart DLB (Dynamic Load Balancing) feature. DLB dynamically adjusts charging power based on household electricity usage, ensuring that charging electric vehicles does not overload the home’s electrical system. This feature is particularly useful in areas where power resources are limited, providing users with a safer and more reliable charging experience.
